We want to say a huge Thank you for Center Parcs for donating the holiday and also to the Give us Time charity that enabled us to go away as a family at a time we needed it most.

It was amazing to go on holiday without having to deal with all the paperwork of booking a holiday, it felt great to close the front door knowing that everything had been arranged for us. When arriving at Center Parcs the admin and collecting of keys was seamless so it was easy for us all to get into the holiday mood instantly.

We knew we wanted to make the most of our time together so we booked lots of activities to do, bowling, tennis, off roading and high ropes (to name a few). We also knew the importance of doing the stuff that we hadn’t been able to do, that we would normally do as a family like playing at the park and going for walks. The boys favourite activity was going to the swimming pool, we spent so many hours playing and splashing around in between going on the huge scary slides that they absolutely loved!

The boys enjoyed being boys, being able to play down by the lake and getting muddy in the woods while looking for bugs gave us so much joy and sense of perspective in our not so normal situation.
