One of our families is currently at Sherwood Forrest Center Parcs and is “having the most wonderful time”!
Rachel and her family were kindly nominated by a fellow military wife who was aware of the struggles the family was facing, after their young son was diagnosed with a debilitating disease which forced him into hospital for long periods of time.
Respite breaks allow families the time they need to stop, relax and reconnect as family units after periods of long separation, bereavement and physical and mental illness. Generous donations of time allow families the time needed to do this in a neutral, relaxing and peaceful environment.
As Rachel says herself “We are in Center Parcs and are having the most wonderful time. I honestly could never thank you all enough for this trip. We have already made memories as a family and all feel fantastic. My son as you know has been very unwell and this holiday has given him time to relax and a break from everything.”
