Give Us A Moment

Give Us Time is thrilled to have re-launched its ‘Give Us A Moment’ programme for 2024! We have received donations for family days out and experiences across the UK for the whole summer!

Give Us A Moment recognises that spouses, partners, and others do so much when the serving person is away, both practically in terms of running the household, but also emotionally, having to fill the role of both parents for children, alongside managing their own needs. Days out, either with the immediate family group or close family members or friends, acknowledges this effort, as well as providing a small ‘breather’ to help break up a long separation.

Families are invited to put themselves for these days out, with priority given to families where the serving person is on deployment, or where the family is separated due to married unaccompanied posting. We have a few tickets left, so please give in touch at [email protected]

Give Us A Moment Donors

Covid-19 has had a massive impact on our current world. As a charity we are intertwined with the hospitality sector and as a result of their struggles, we have lost many of our wonderful donations of accommodation.

To ensure we can continue to help our military families, we are launching the Give Us A Moment initiative. We will be sending families away on day trips to the zoo, theme parks, and other family fun places so we can still help them to reaffirm their family bond and spend time together, even if it’s only for a day.

The Give Us A Moment initiative is only for families who haven’t been able to book breaks and go on holiday through Give Us Time. If you haven’t been able to book a break with Give Us Time, you may be eligible for a Give Us A Moment day out for the whole family.

Please note that the initiative has only started, therefore we only have a very limited number of Give Us A Moment’s days available. Bear with us while we work hard to give you and your family memories to treasure!
