Give Us Time welcomes Matt Rogers as our new Chair of Trustees. Mr Rogers has been a trustee of the charity since 2018. During his time as trustee, he has played a vital role in our fundraising efforts and has helped raise tens of thousands of pounds for the charity.

He succeeds Sean Taylor, who has been Chair of Give Us Time of Trustees since 2019. Mr Taylor successfully supervised the charity’s post-pandemic recovery which has since resulted in some of our most successful years. In 2022, he oversaw a record number of families being sent away and the charity winning the Family Values Award at the Soldiering On Awards 2021. Mr Taylor himself was awarded the Points of Light Award for his work within the charity sector.

Speaking on his appointment, Mr Rogers said:

“It’s an absolute privilege to be asked to Chair this wonderful charity, that punches well above its weight with the number of families it helps, providing precious respite breaks for so many. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to all our servicemen and servicewomen and Give Us Time is a unique way for us to all give a little back.”
